COMPLETELY white in Oxford...absolutely beautiful and the children have already planned their gigantic snowman for tomorrow!
Our front door is heaped with snow so we must have at least 8 inches already and it is still snowing heavily.....
Get better SOON Jean, what a shame it has returned....keep off that sleigh..

The snow is still falling where i am. I agree I love the snow but hate the slippery paths, so happy dont have to go anywhere today. . amanda you always are so cheery. you are definitely a glass half full time of person.... yes snowman and sleding Julie, What do you do and do you work local or have a trek to go to work? I suppose it doesnt matter what the distance is anyway as the snow makes any travel difficult. Is there anything you can do from home. Dont worry a lot of people are a simialr situtation. I know easier said than done.

We have over 12 inches but at least it's not snowing today. Looks as if it will be around for a while though, it isn't even thawing from the trees, they are thick with snow.
Think I'll get the tin tray out today and do some practising!

Snowy here in Bucks, 10 inches and still falling heavily at times. My middle son, Stuart aged 22 is building a snowman and looking a bit of a twit! He has only a hoodie on and every time he bends over he has a big expanse of bare back showing! Do they ever grow up?! Hubby and eldest son, Aron have gone to work but only because Hubby has a 4 wheel drive, our village is virtually cut off otherwise and my daughter Charlotte is stuck in Lincoln with friends. Why are we useless in bad weather? A friend e-mailed to say that she has 18 inches of snow, she lives in new york and just said that getting into the car park at work was the only problem, no big problem otherwise. Let Monty & Oscar out in the garden and the snow was up to Monty's chest, he loved it! Oscar kept disappearing and eventually emerged looking like a doggy snowman! I am staying in the warm with my jigsaw and watching telly. Making hot chocolate with marshmallows for my Stuart when he finishes his snowman. Please spare a thought for my Daughter-in-Laws sister Lucy, she is very pregnant and liable to go into labour at any time, hoping she holds on until the snow clears or how on earth she will get to the hospital is any ones guess, we are all a bit worried for her. christine xx

We have a good foot of snow here, and it`s still snowing. My humira was delivered today, at about 3pm - he`s usually here by 9 30am, but I got a phone call from the driver at 2 30 saying "Torvill & Dean will be here with your drugs in about half an hour."By the time they came the poor driver had already worked a 12 hour shift & still had more deliveries to make. Finally got snow here- about 8 ins. Went for a walk earlier this mornng while it was still soft. Stopped off in my favourite cafe for a massive hot chocolate with cream, marshmallows and sugar sprinkles- bliss!!! Unfortunately I underestimated the effect of the walk as my feet and lower legs were agony when I got home Won't be going out tomorrow though as ice is predicted tonight. Take care and stay safe everyone!
